 EMMS v2.5 has been released. The new version includes a series of improvements detailed below, the majority of them related to security and work flow. Also, the code has been completely revised/updated; this will facilitate and improve new deliveries (2.5x versions). Coming deliveries will include functions for kiva, savings, sponsors, etc.

Based on the World Wide Web, and developed with OpenSource technology, the e-MicroCredit Management System (e-MMS) integrates personnel management, the portfolio of clients, loans, and impact evaluation; all in an intuitive and friendly manner.
e-MMS is able to generate reports with data sheets and graphics consolidating the information according to diverse criteria, to facilitate the evaluation of performance and for decision-making.

 The e-mms project is sponsored by Esperanza International, a non-profit christian development organization devoted to free children and their families from poverty through initiatives that generate income, education and health, restoring self-worth and dignity to those who have lost hope.
Esperanza accomplishes its mission by focusing in different sectors of activity, including its Microcredit Program. A long-term goal for the participants will be for them to eventually establish a good credit track record, which will allow them access to commercial bank credit for their on-going business needs.
